From his humble beginnings in Belzoni, Mississippi, this Sagebrush Productions DVD biography documents the life of a Blues great through the eyes of his peers as well as Pinetop�s own stories. Follow his path from the banks of the Mississippi and the time he spent under the fingers of Clarence "Pinetop" Smith and his years with Sonny Boy Williamson and the King Biscuit Time radio program on KFFA all the way through his replacing the legendary Otis Spann in Muddy Waters� band and holding that stool for 12 years before branching out on his own. This is truly a great historical piece for any Blues fan�s collection.

With this DVD you also receive a live CD of Pinetop in Chicago playing 10 great songs with help from Bob Stroger, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, and "Little" Frank Krokowski. All for a great low price!
